Is this a drop-in part, or will I need a gunsmith?
For the vast majority of compatible firearms, this magazine release is designed as a drop-in component. Installation typically only requires a small punch to depress the factory spring and detent. However, we always recommend consulting your specific firearm’s manual and, if you are not completely comfortable with the process, seeking professional assistance to ensure proper function and safety.
Will the blue finish wear off with use?
No. The blue color is not a paint or coating; it is a Type III Hardcoat Anodization. This electrochemical process dyes and seals the aluminum substrate itself, creating an extremely hard, wear-resistant surface that is integral to the metal. It provides excellent corrosion resistance and will maintain its appearance through extensive range use and holstering.
How much more leverage does the extended paddle offer?
The paddle is engineered to provide approximately 40-50% more surface area compared to a standard flush magazine release. This extra real estate allows you to apply positive pressure with the pad of your thumb without having to drastically alter your master grip. The result is a more natural, consistent, and faster magazine release stroke, especially under stress or when wearing gloves.
Is this legal for use in my state?

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to firearm modifications and accessories before ordering and installing this product.
