Will these sights co-witness with my red dot sight?
Yes, absolutely. These suppressor-height sights are specifically engineered to provide a lower 1/3 co-witness with most common micro red dot optics (RMR, Holosun, etc.) when installed on a milled or MOS slide. This allows you to use the iron sights as a quick backup through the optic window without cluttering the primary dot view, ensuring you have a reliable aiming reference under any condition.
Are they compatible with my Glock’s factory holsters?
In most cases, yes. The increased height has a minimal footprint and typically does not interfere with the retention of standard Kydex or polymer holsters designed for your Glock model. We recommend testing fitment with your specific holster, as some ultra-tight, molded-in-the-wraparound designs may require slight adjustment. Leather holsters generally present no issue.
Do I need a special tool to install them?
While it is possible to install them with a brass punch and hammer, we strongly recommend using a dedicated Glock sight installation tool. The rear sight on Glocks is notoriously tight, and a proper tool applies even, controlled pressure to drift the sight into place without damaging the delicate dovetail, your new sights, or the slide’s finish, ensuring a perfect, secure fit.
Why choose a fiber optic front with a blacked-out rear?
This configuration is a favorite among practical shooters for its speed and focus. The vibrant green fiber optic front sight naturally gathers light, creating a brilliant aiming point that your eye instantly picks up. The serrated, blacked-out rear sight eliminates visual distraction, framing the front post clearly and forcing you to focus on the target. This leads to faster, more precise shots, especially in dynamic situations.
